Spring Cleaning Party

Spring Clean & Purge Party

I’m going to start speeding up the list. It’s taking me way too long and I’m disappointed that I didn’t have committed interest. Check out the master list and see what I’m doing and when. Let’s clean the house and get rid of our C.R.A.P. together (and it’s not too late to join me in case you feel sorry for me cleaning all by myself …).

Can’t wait to see how we all get so neat and tidy together! I let the master bedroom take two weeks because it was a bit of a bigger job than I anticipated (and I got sick half-way through it). This week we will tackle the MASTER BEDROOM CLOSET.Our closet it actually like a small bedroom so it’s easy to get stuff accumulated in there.

At least the yarn is organized but I still need to get to the patterns I’ve inherited and not gone through yet. Here’s the list

Spring Clean & Purge Party ~ Bathroom Summary

I’m late posting my bathroom before and after today because I was dashing around finishing the last one. Apparently this is where I stashed all the baby stuff that needs to be “taken care of” (a.k.a. sold or donated). If you are just joining, check out the bathroom assignment and introduction to the Spring Clean and Purge Party. We’d love for you to join us! Here is my summary of the four bathrooms I cleaned. Incidentally, Ava (4 years old) threw up in two of the toilets that I had already cleaned so I had to go back and disinfect

Spring Clean & Purge Party

First, is it really a party when we spring clean and purge? Let’s make it one anyway, okay?! Are you in?  Your Assignment, Should You Choose To Accept It …Don’t you find over the year that “stuff” accumulates, gets moved out of its proper place, or isn’t used and so it is time to donate, sell or toss it? Unless you have a set time to do this it often never happens. Last year, I was pleased with my plan to both purge and deep clean each room of my home. Spring Cleaning Party 2009 ~ Day 6

Today’s focus is the bathrooms and linen closets. These tiny rooms can easily wreak a lot of havoc in an otherwise organized home, because they serve as storage for a wide range of products. From half-used toiletries, to hotel freebies, to medicine, to extra sheets, bathrooms can be filled to the brim with clutter.

Spring Cleaning Party 2009 ~ Day 5

Today’s the last day on the kitchen! It feels really good to have the hub of the home cleared and ready to use, and to know where all the cooking tools are. Since the food is inventoried and ordered, it’s much easier to organize everything else. I did this a few weeks ago in the kitchen and for some reason cannot find my before and after photos. But where is the food inventory list? Anyone know of a good one?

Spring Cleaning Party 2009 ~ Day 4

Day four is part one of the kitchen. Spring cleaning the kitchen can be a doozy, but thankfully, it’s so much easier each year you keep at it. The key here, as in all rooms, is to truly have only what you need and love.

Spring Cleaning Party 2009 ~ Day 3

Today is day three, which is part two of the living areas. Remember to declutter, clean and organize. I am feeling SO great about myself. I even pulled out the furniture and vacuumed behind them and the baseboards! Let me know if you can see more of a difference from today’s part two in the room versus part one and what you think of it! I moved the television up high to stop little hands from pressing all the buttons ~ although dear hubby tells me that it is too wobbly and it might topple and kill a child. Well
