Crazy Mom Quilts is having a “Small Projects Sew-Along“. I love that I can participate and get a lot of existing projects done versus having yet another project to add to my list.
This sew-along also comes with great timing since I just purchased a lot of material for projects this past weekend while I was in the USA on a dance tournament. (Read more about it here)
Sewing projects I would like to complete this month:
- Shorts for Travis (x2)
- Shorts or skirts for Ava (x2)
- Dresses for Ava (x2)
- Mend plush baby toy
- Mend winter gloves
- Mend Travis’s sweater
- Finish armchair sewing caddy
- Hem Ava’s pants
- Use monkey material for Ava (either pajamas or housecoat)
I will update my status on these projects on my Crafts page.
What are you wanting to get done this month?

I'm participating too. Hoping to get all my small projects knocked out and (hopefully) not add much more to the list. Good luck with yours! Looking forward to seeing what you do with the monkey fabric. My younger daughter (she's almost 6) loves monkeys, so I always enjoy seeing monkey projects.
Things were going so well that I just went back and purchased more material to make more clothes!!
Thanks so much for stopping by my SITS day! So nice to meet you. Love your header image! I think we have alot in common. Although I'm still just learning how to sew. My small project for the month is a ruffle skirt for my daughter. Anyways I'm now following you via GFC. Yay!
Ruffle skirts are adorable. I can't wait to see how yours comes out!
