Falling Behind

I don’t know what my problem is … I seem to get everything organized and then I suppose I coast and within a half-day the house is cluttered again. I can barely keep up with the laundry and the dishes, never mind checking my emails, reading, responding to my pen pal letters, indulging in a crochet or knitting project, or even watching television! I keep meaning to get to the gym also but all I’ve achieved is gaining ten pounds while finding other things to do instead of going (like bathing the children, washing dishes or doing laundry!).

I am very thankful that we have a cleaning lady who started two weeks ago and will come every two weeks – with five children in the home (my two and the home daycare kids) I need all the help I can get! And isn’t it a business expense as well as a marriage saver?! It also motivates me to clean house before she comes. I know I know it sounds crazy but I merely tidy up (not pre-dust before she comes!).
