I am feeling great. The cold has finally subsided.
On Friday night I figured I needed to practice the 1 minute run, 2 minute walk thing (7 times for a total of 21 minutes). I did it!
Then on Saturday morning I went to my clinic and ran the new sets of 1 minute run, 1 minute walk for a total of 2.5 kms in 20 minutes. I did this same thing on Sunday (wahoo).
Monday night my new running partner (my neighbour who lives a few doors down) came over and we did the same set as we had on the weekend.
I’m feeling pumped and it’s getting way easier. I even figured out the correct breathing (in for 2 in through the nose and out for two through the mouth ~ this made a HUGE difference in my stamina).
