Congratulations to Jennifer Heil who successfully won Canada’s first 2010 Olympic medal in women’s moguls. Heil did a fantastic job and it was a very solid competition between her and the US’s Hannah Kearney, who ended up with gold when she beat her out by less than one point.

A little bit about our silver medalist … Heil is a “world-class freestyle mogul skier, Jenn secured numerous titles and medals, among which 4 consecutive World Cup Titles and a gold medal at the 2006 Olympics.” (source)

  1. Good morning, SITStah,
I'm so happy to hear you celebrate a silver medal. I love the Olympics, but come one, when it's that close, both people are gold medalist material. I don't like it when the commmentaters lament the loss of the gold. But, to each his own, that's the way they like to watch the Olympics. I watch my way.

Speaking of my way, I would love you to visit my site today because I have a sport-themed post up too! It's in the realm of shameless self-promotion because I've turned up on a cover of a book called "50 Athletes over 50".

Your comment would be deeply appreciated. You might even be the first one!
