Weight Journey – Day 15

Tuesday, January 27 @ 8:30 a.m.I’m having a fantastic week. I am down 1.4 lbs since yesterday and down 4 lbs since Saturday (and that includes and ice cream cake cheat). I’m even a bit more than tracing for ketosis this morning. I wasn’t worried about getting into ketosis but I’m thrilled to be burning. Today’s trick is … I filled a 2L container of half sparkling water, half tap water and one Lime Crystal Lite singles. I’m not sure about the sparkling water but one glass has filled me up already. Weight Journey – Day 14

I am down 1.4 lbs. Now we’re talking! I’ve been feeling fantastic and the food I’ve been eating has been SO delicious! Much better than what I was eating before I watched what I’m eating. Does anyone else notice how when you are on a “diet” you eat more veggies and fruit? I tend to forget about these when I am on “regular eating” (also known as, real life) and honestly, I don’t enjoy it very much. Please say I’m not the only one!

Weight Journey – Day 13

Sunday, January 25 @ 9:15 p.m.I sighed relief this morning as my weight stayed exactly the same as yesterday morning. I’m so thankful that the ice cream cake cheat did not do in all of my hard work over the past few days. I ate a very strict day today and I’m excited to step on the scale in the morning (maybe even a peek tonight). It’s really exciting when things all fall into line. Weight Journey – Day 12

Saturday, January 24 @ 10:00 p.m.Yesterday’s strictness (Dr. Bernstein diet) paid off. Today I finally had a break in the weigh-in. Down 1.2 lbs. Hurrah! With this success I was very excited to have another strict day. I made a delicious omelet, had an apple for morning snack, made a pizza for lunch and even planned a broccoli salad for dinner with an apple and jell-o for snack while we went out to a family dinner. Friday January 22 @ 10:00 a.m.I gained back the 0.2 lbs I had lost yesterday. I’ve been hovering all week within a half-pound. Based on this lack of success, I’ve changed my technique. I was tracking my foods by caloric goal and that didn’t work so well. Now I’m tracking my Dr Bernstein daily goals and I’ve edited my food diary to reflect this on My Fitness Pal. It now will break down instead of by meal but by bread, protein, fruit, vegetable and jell-o goals. As well as my water. I really need this to start to work. I

Thursday January 22 @ 3:00 p.m.I am down 0.2 lbs this morning. Sigh. Yesterday I did manage to drink 6 glasses of water. An improvement from the day before but still not the 8 I set my goal at. My days aren’t really in actual daily order but that’s okay. I’m catching up on a bunch of days with the post. Since I pretty much stopped last week I’m continuing on Day 8. Saturday January 17 @ 9:30 p.m. We went out for a fancy dinner to celebrate my parents Ruby anniversary (40th). I ate. A lot. I have been listening to the audio book “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy”. She loses a lot of weight and her observations are hilarious.
