I can’t seem to find any rugs in the stores that I like, matches our colours, or that is reasonably priced.

As a crafter, what better way to find a solution to this dilemma than to make one myself?!

I found the South Riding Kitchen Rug FREE pattern and, with a few edits for colours and width, I made one for in front of our kitchen sink.

I love how it turned out and it was simple and quick to work up.

Now I will consider making projects for a few other areas that need rugs.
